ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Adult Learning helps business grow
Learner Yvette works for a travel company called African Pathfinder. Now that travel restrictions are lifting and the world begins to recover from COVID-19, travelling abroad is at last accessible and no longer a distant dream. Yvette enrolled on a 'Social Media for Business Course' to help her to shape her business model. She realised that she needed to be confident and skilled at using social media. She has progressed from being a Facebook user to integrating all social media channels confidently in her work to connect and engage with her clients.
She said, "Prior to doing the Social Media for Business Course with ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Adult Learning, I really did not know much about the main social media channels apart from doing a bit of Facebook posting. I wanted to develop social media skills and help drive the business forward in terms of our social media marketing. This journey of discovery gave me confidence to use Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook to promote our safari business and it has already made a huge change to our marketing communications.
We have recently been nominated for a South African Tourism Award for Service Excellence, and I was able to use social media to promote the call for votes which has proved very successful. I also connected very well with other learners on this course, and we meet up once a month to support each other's social media initiatives and ideas."
She added, "I am the UK branch of all women run safari tour operator called African Pathfinder, who are based in Cape Town, South Africa. We are celebrating 20 years in business this year! We create off the beaten track trips to southern and East Africa. As a team we really pride ourselves in tailor making authentic, memorable trips with exceptional attention to detail. That is why over 90% of our business is repeat business and referrals! Now that travel has opened up, Africa is a bucket list destination that is hugely popular.
I can highly recommend ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Adult Learning especially for anyone who is looking for a supportive learning environment. Doing it online at home was convenient and my tutor was supportive. I would encourage anyone looking to learn new skills to enrol. These courses are great value for money, the content is relevant, and you get to meet interesting people."
