About Animation And Game Art BA (hons) in University of Worcester
Our Game Art & Animation studio is fully equipped with high spec PCs featuring industry standard software such as Autodesk Maya, Motionbuilder, Toon Boom and Adobe Suite, as well as MAC facilities.
We have a dedicated Game Art and Animation technician who is part of a wider team from the Digital Arts Centre. Our technicians are friendly and always there to help students with equipment and software. You can also hire out professional film/sound equipment, graphics tablets, lightboxes and other kit, as well as booking sound and video studios, including a state-of-the-art Film studio with Green Screen for VFX. Excellent industry links include our panel of award winning talent from our region (Dice Productions, Yaminations, Second ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Studios and Exient), who provide support and real-world experience.
Close collaboration with the Computer Games Design & Development course gives you the chance to gain a valuable understanding of how games are engineered, as well as experiencing team work opportunities mirroring industry practice.
