Our Partners

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø's Local Resilience Forum (LRF) is a multi-agency partnership made up of representatives from local public services, including the Emergency Services, Local Authorities, NHS England and the Environment Agency, which are all Category One Responders under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004. The LRF is also supported by Category Two Responders, such as Highways England and utility companies.

Our work with water safety partners

ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Fire and Rescue Service works with the and the to raise awareness about water safety in ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø.

What our partnership work includes

Supporting borough and district councils

We provide RNLI and RLSS information that helps borough and district councils to identify and consider steps to reduce the risk of emergencies in and around water, whilst allowing members of the public to enjoy ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø's countryside.

Educating the general public

We provide accredited information and hold joint events to raise awareness abut cold water shock, general water safety precautions and how to deal with an emergency.

Delivering water safety education within ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø schools

Both RNLI and RLSS are leaders in water safety education for schools. ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø Fire and Rescue Service has been working with both partners to develop lesson plans that are being delivered by teachers in some ÌÇÐÄvlog¹ÙÍø schools as part of the school curriculum.
